Once a city was transposed into a cloud. The citizens
streamed in white and rain. They had previously existed
as a grain of
sand, and managed
a completely ecologically
sound existence.
Something came, that they didn't expect and swept
them into the air, and they fell down as
a
summer shower
and of course the King sent out his horses
and men,
but nothing could be done and the
once great city was lost to the
endless sea.
If you watch a
person drowning try to perceive
the eyes of these so perfectly
clear homeless surrounding
him, welcoming him, and though his body will
thrash and he will gnash his teeth
and spit out the salt of the tearful
ocean he will come to rest in the arms of his final beloveds.
For
in this city of water everyone is your one true
love.
